Summer Full of Life Blood Drive at Apple Chevrolet

This past weekend, we held our annual American Red Cross Blood Drive at Apple Chevrolet! On May 7th from 10:00am-4:00pm, we had around 64 donors donate blood. We ended up surpassing our goal of collecting 60 units of blood and instead collected 66 units! A huge thanks to everyone who took time out of their day to stop by and donate. Just one donation can save up to three lives, so every single donation meant a tremendous amount.

Thinking About Donating Blood at Our Next Drive?

Here are some requirements you should know about:

Whole Blood Donation

• Donation frequency: Every 56 days
• You must be in good health and feeling well
• Age: At least 16 years old
• Weight: At least 110 lbs.

Power Red Donation

• Donation frequency: Every 112 days, up to 3 times/year
• You must be in good health and feeling well
• Male donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh over 130 lbs. and be over 5’1″
• Female donors must be at least 19 years old, weigh over 150 lbs. and be over 5’5″
