Chevy Unveils New Red Line Series Concepts (Which Include a New Camaro)
At the 2015 Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) show, Chevrolet introduced a new line of their Red Line series concept vehicles for the show, one of which was based on the new, redesigned, sixth-generation 2016 Camaro. This Red Line concept Camaro is built in order to showcase a number of the new accessories that will be available to owners as soon as the 2016 Camaro hits dealerships.
And this is good news for Camaro fans, considering that the Camaro Red Line Series concept absolutely demonstrates the immense amount of personalization and pizzazz that will come with the new 2016 Camaro. In fact, alongside the benefits gifted to the 2016 Camaro from Chevy’s official Accessories and Performance components, gaining the accessories that come with the Red Line Series concepts means that the new 2016 Camaro should become one of the most customizable of the Camaro series to date! “Chevrolet Accessories bring value and the added security of knowing the parts are designed, engineered, tested, and backed by the same team that developed the vehicles,” said Roger McCormack, director of Chevrolet Accessories and Performance Parts Marketing.
However, even despite all of that, the Red Line Series concept Camaro is absolutely gorgeous. There are plenty of striking details when taking the vehicle in at a glace, but the most striking could arguably be the 20-inch wheels (which are finished in Satin Graphite with red accents), the black and red hash mark on the front fenders, and/or the black decal between the taillights. These are all incredible details that any Camaro fan could drool over. More in depth features include a Satin Graphite mirror caps and window trim, not to mention “Camaro” fender badges in gloss-black with red accents (this color combination making it seem as if the badges are glowing, which, obviously, looks incredible).
Now, while the SEMA concept vehicle is painted Enhanced Silver Metallic and features a Charcoal roof, the Red Line Series package will become available with any color the customer has in mind from the 2016 Camaro color palette. It is no surprise that Chevrolet went with a silver vehicle for the SEMA show, given how good the color looks when you take the contrast of black and red accents into account. Unfortunately, however, the Enhanced Silver Metallic is not part of the 2016 Camaro color palette, so such a combination will not be available.
