Satisfy Your Spy Movie Itch with Chevrolet’s 2016 Impala Midnight Edition
Have you ever considered yourself the James Bond-type? You know, the up to date on nice suites, the latest gadgets, the shaken-not-stirred martinis — all that’s left is perhaps the most important thing: the car. Not just any car, of course, this car needs to portray the exact same sleek, modern, clean, super-spy attitude that you subsequently portray. Well, look no further, Agent Smith, Chevrolet has got you covered with their new 2016 Chevy Impala Midnight Edition and at Apple Chevrolet, your Chicagoland chevy dealer, we couldn’t be more excited.
“Since its introduction in 2014, Impala has been a benchmark for Chevrolet car design,” says Chevrolet’s director of car marketing, Steve Majoros. “The Midnight Edition further strengthens the Impala’s dramatic, head-turning styling.” And head-turning would be just the word to use with regard to the 2016 Impala Midnight Edition. That is, I sincerely doubt this beautiful car would be able to drive very far down the road without turning 99.9% of the heads it passes.
On the books to arrive in dealerships this summer, the Impala Midnight Edition takes very seriously the “midnight” moniker: the vehicle is cloaked in a Jet Black exterior that is so intensely wonderful it seems like it could have only come from Bruce Wayne’s own garage. And that is just the paint job — not to mention the body color mirrors, black grille with surrounding black Chevrolet bowtie, 19-inch machine-faced aluminum wheels with black accents, and a black rear spoiler to serve as the cherry on top of this amazing package.
The 2016 Impala Midnight Edition’s interior is also nothing to laugh at: Inside we get a Jet Black cabin with accompanying sport pedals that keeps so well to the overall theme. Here, though, Chevrolet begins offering us a slew of choices: you can purchase the Midnight Edition package with the 1LT, 2LT, and LTZ trim levels for a price ranging from $999 to $1,595 plus the starting retail price. Also available with the Midnight Edition package is a choice of two powertrains: the standard 196 horsepower 2.5-liter iVLC with stop/start technology or the 305 horsepower 3.6-liter V6.
All in all, the new Chevy Impala will be the talk of any town, let alone neighborhood. Assuring the inevitable head-turning that Majoros was so quick to mention, the Impala Midnight Edition will be a purchase to be envied. Keep checking back with us here at Apple Chevrolet for the latest news and insights into the 2016 Impala Midnight Edition, which will be available for the 2016 model year (scheduled to arrive this summer, as aforementioned). Also, you should certainly make it a point to stop by Apple Chevrolet and see our 2015 Impala models as well as sign up for a test drive when these spymobiles finally hit our lot.
