Cookies for the Troops at Apple Chevrolet
Apple Chevrolet in Tinley Park was proud to honor our brave service members during the Cookies for the Troops event that was held on Friday, November 7th from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The event was organized in memory of Darryl Wertheim and brought the community together to show support for our troops. This Veterans Day, we want to highlight this event and express our gratitude to our brave troops overseas and all veterans.
Giving Back to Our Troops
In partnership with the Village of Orland Park and the Orland Park Veterans Commission, members of the community and attendees donated packaged cookies, candy, hot chocolate, small holiday decorations, and handwritten cards. These thoughtful gifts will be sent overseas to bring extra cheer to service members this holiday season.
