2018 Chevy Traverse RS
As SUVs continue to rise in popularity, Chevy has something up its sleeve for the 2018 Traverse. The 2018 Traverse is going to feature a new model—the RS model.
This vehicle will give you even more power and style than your average Traverse trim. For style features, the Traverse RS will feature a blacked-out grille, window trim, roof rails, 20-inch aluminum wheels with a Dark Android finish as well as bowtie emblems. However, what people really seem to like about the Traverse RS is the new turbocharged engine option.
Motor Trend discusses the engine options on the Traverse, “The Traverse RS ushers in a new 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder to the lineup. This unit makes 257 hp and 295 lb-ft of torque. All other Traverses come with a 3.6-liter V-6 engine delivering 310 hp and 266 lb-ft of torque. Both engines come paired to a nine-speed automatic transmission.”
Along with this engine, you will get a good fuel economy with an estimated 20 city miles per gallon and 26 highway miles per gallon.

Discussing the fairness of the price, Motor Trend says, “Fortunately, that price brings along a fair number of standard features, including an 8-inch touchscreen with navigation, tri-zone auto climate control, 4G LTE with Wi-Fi hotspot, power liftgate, leather-appointed surfaces with heated front seats, Bose 10-speaker sound system, active aero shutters, lane change alert, side blind zone alert, rear cross traffic alert, and more.”
