Volt Wins its Third “Best of” Award

The Chevrolet Volt has won its third award from one of the major car enthusiasts magazines, being named one of Car and Driver’s 2011 10Best Cars. Last week the Volt was named car of the year by both Motor Trend and Automobile magazines. General Motors Corp.’s extended-range plug-in Volt won the title of 2011 Motor Trend Car of the Year and 2011 Automobile of the Year.
Along with the Volt, the Cadillac CTS-V was also named as one of the 10Best Cars of 2011. These two wins for General Motors makes them the only American automaker to earn two spots on Car and Driver’s list.
