2024 Wrapped: Apple Chevy’s Year in Review
As we close out 2024, we want to take a moment to reflect on an incredible year at Apple Chevrolet, your local Tinley Park Chevrolet dealership. Thanks to our loyal customers and dedicated employees, we achieved so much together. From exciting events to meaningful community initiatives, 2024 was truly special. We are grateful to the Tinley Park community for making this year one to remember!
Giving Back to the Community
This year, our Tinley Park Chevy dealership was honored to host multiple blood drives in partnership with the American Red Cross, helping to save lives together. Our community’s generosity and willingness to give made these events a great success.
In May, we gathered with veterans and active military personnel for our Breakfast with the Vets event, where we shared a complimentary breakfast from Chick-fil-A as a small token of appreciation for their service. Additionally, throughout the year, we hosted multiple Military Care Package Events, where we worked alongside the community to collect and assemble care packages for our troops overseas. These moments of support and gratitude showcased the incredible spirit of Tinley Park.
Exciting Events and First-Time Experiences
One of our proudest milestones this year was hosting our first-ever dog adoption event in June with Anderson Humane. Thanks to the overwhelming turnout, we were able to help many puppies and dogs find their forever homes. It was heartwarming to see so many families grow with the addition of a new furry friend.
Later in June, we welcomed car enthusiasts to our dealership for the Triple NCCC Corvette Car Show on June 23rd. Attendees enjoyed a stunning display of Corvettes, complimentary food, and a fantastic time celebrating their shared passion for these iconic vehicles.
July brought another exciting event with our annual USO BBQ for the Troops on July 13th. This year’s event featured a classic car show, military vehicles, live music, and free food, including delicious gelato from Joey’s Food Truck. All proceeds benefited USO Illinois, supporting our brave service members and their families.
Spreading Holiday Cheer
The holiday season is always a special time at Apple Chevrolet, and this year was no exception. Our annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive helped bring joy to children in need, with our dealership serving as a collection hub for new, unwrapped toys. We wrapped up the drive with a Toy Drive Party on December 14th, where the community came together to celebrate the season and support a great cause.
Adding to the excitement, we held our Toys for Tots Toy Drive Giveaway, where one lucky participant won an all-new 2025 Chevy Trax! Seeing the community’s enthusiasm and generosity during the holiday season was truly inspiring.
