Upgrades for 2020
There are two major changes for the 2020 Chevy Camaro. The first chance is a new exterior look for the SS model. The second major change is a new LT1 model that offers a V8 engine.
According to Motor1, “The design tweaks for the SS are most notable in the grille. The 2020 model (below left) has a body-color crossbar, and the Bowtie emblem is now in the upper section. The 2019 version (below right) had a contrasting black piece in the front and put the brand logo there.”
Also, for the 2020 model, you have a new LT1 trim. This LT1 trim gives you the 6.2-liter V8 engine that is found in the Camaro SS. This engine produces 455-horsepower, and it can be found with a six-speed manual or a 10-speed automatic transmission. The addition of the LT1 trim with the 6.2-liter V8 gives buyers the ability to get a great V8 engine without going all the way up to the SS model. For 2020, the LT1 model will start at a price of $34,995, whereas the 2019 Camaro SS had a starting price of $37,000.
