Raising Money for Making Strides Against Breast Cancer
For the forth year now, Apple Chevrolet will be sponsoring their own team in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer of South Suburban, as well as raising money by selling pots of mums. Yes, beautifully colored potted mums just in time for the beginning of fall.
The lovely “Making Strides” mums can be purchased at Apple Chevrolet, located at 8585 W. 159th Street in Tinley Park, Illinois. The mums will be sold for only $10 a pot, with 100% of the proceeds being donated to the American Cancer Society’s walk; Making Strides Against Breast Cancer.
Additionally, Apple Chevy will be holding raffles throughout the month of September as well as giving special recognition to the generous companies who donate to the cause through Apple Chevy.
The South Suburban walk will take place on Sunday, October 11th at 9:00 a.m. at Centennial Park, 10401 W. 153rd Street in Orland Park, Illinois. If you would like to register to participate in the walk or to donate to the cause, click here.
