Thank You, Tinley Park: A Heartfelt Recap of Apple Chevrolet’s Toys for Tots Toy Drive & Car Giveaway
Our Tinley Park Chevy dealership is proud to have hosted another successful Toys for Tots Toy Drive! Thank you to our incredible community for showing up and making Apple Chevrolet’s Annual Toys for Tots Toy Drive on Saturday, December 13th such a success. Because of your generosity, we collected an amazing number of toys and bikes to help brighten the holidays for children in need, and we could not be more grateful.
As the largest single-point Toys for Tots drop-off location in Chicagoland, Apple Chevrolet is proud to partner with the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve for this meaningful event. Year after year, our community continues to step up, helping us deliver a message of hope and joy to families and children throughout the Chicago area.
A Day Filled With Holiday Cheer
Our final drop-off party was truly a celebration of the season. Families joined us at our Tinley Park dealership to enjoy festive music, food, photos with Santa, and fun activities for all ages. We were honored to welcome special guests including WGN Radio’s Bob Sirott, Chicago Blackhawks legend Jeremy Roenick, members of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve, and of course Santa Claus himself. The energy and generosity throughout the day made the event unforgettable.
We also thank everyone who participated in our 2026 red Chevrolet Trax giveaway. This special part of the event allowed donors to nominate someone meaningful in their lives to receive a brand-new vehicle, reinforcing the true spirit of giving that defines the holiday season.
Honoring a Legacy Through Ride4Ryan
This year’s Toy Drive once again included Ride4Ryan, a program created to honor the memory of Ryan Plowman. Inspired by Ryan’s kindness, generosity, and love for cycling, Ride4Ryan continues to collect and donate bicycles to children in need during our annual Toys for Tots event.
Now in its fourth year, Ride4Ryan has helped donate nearly 400 bikes thanks to the dedication of Ryan’s father, Dan Plowman, and the Apple Chevrolet team, along with the overwhelming support of our community. Each bike donated helps carry forward Ryan’s legacy and brings an extra sense of joy to a child’s holiday.
