2021 Chevrolet Suburban First Review
The 2021 Chevrolet Suburban is bigger and better than before. Hands down, it’s the go-to SUV for big families. Its all-new model is revamped with a sleek modern look and more spacious interior design. This behemoth of a vehicle seats up to nine passengers. Leading cargo room and horsepower blow away its main competitor, the Ford Expedition Max.
Overview
This new Chevy is expected to go on sale in mid-2020. The Suburban is a four-wheel drive that is available in 6 trims: the LS, LT, Z71, High Country, Premier, and RST. This SUV is about 19 feet long and the price ranges from $52,995 to $73,595. The Suburban looks to outclass and muscle many of its competitors from 2020.
These competitors include the Ford Expedition, Nissan Armada, Toyota Land Cruiser, and Toyota Sequoia. Its horsepower runs at 277 hp, 355hp and 420 hp, while the torque can handle 383 lb-ft and 460-lb ft, respectively. All Suburban models utilize an auto stop and start and cylinder deactivation technology to maximize fuel economy.
Safety and Driving Experience
The 2021 Chevy Suburban comes with an array of driver assistance technologies such as the automated emergency brake, straight forward-collision warning, lane-keeping assist, lane-departure warning, rear cross-traffic alert, and blind-spot monitoring. These features help drivers navigate through sticky situations such as monitoring blind spots, parking in narrow spaces and alerting you when potential collisions may occur. With the High Country models, drivers can opt to use its new adaptive cruise control feature which paces the vehicle ahead automatically.
Interior
Besides power and safety, the Suburban is also the largest of its class! If you fold the rows, you can create additional space. To make your riding experience comfortable, this SUV has heated and ventilated seats, a built-in wireless phone charger and a larger heads up display and digital gauge cluster display than before.
The Chevy Suburban can’t be the best family SUV without having a premium infotainment system. There are two beautifully 12.6-inch screens mounted behind the front seats and a 10-inch screen fitted in the center. For convenience, there are built-in charging ports throughout the interior and a WiFi- hotspot for passengers to access and enjoy their entertainment. Of course, all screens support Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
