Dan,

I wanted to send you a quick update on the Volt. What a car! After one week of driving we averaged 285MPG. One week in my old car and I would have used 1/2 of a tank of gas.  In the Volt we have used less than one gallon.  I am already forgetting where the gas stations are…

The car is incredible as you know and everyone loves how quiet and smoothly it rides.  My two boys can’t wait to ride in the “cool” car.  Gretchen who is a self-stated “Big Truck” person loves the car.  She has found charging to be very simple.  We both really like the feature to pre-heat the cabin and the seats while on grid power.  Certainly takes the edge off a chilly morning.  I really enjoy the level of iPhone/Pod integration (See photo).
