Congratulations to 6 Tinley Park Police Officers Honored For Their Actions

Congratulations to 6 Tinley Park police officers who were awarded for their actions in the line of duty by the Cook County Sheriff’s police.  The officers are Kenneth Hill, Bryan Bishop, Darren Persha, Bradley Parker, Jason Stoiner, and Burton Montalbano.  Officers Kenneth Hill and Burton Montalbano received Awards of Valor and the other five officers received Merit Awards.

They were among 88 from across Cook County recognized by sheriff’s police, who also honored the families of four Chicago police officers who were killed during the past year: Sgt. Alan Haymaker and officers Thomas Wortham, Thor Soderberg and Michael Bailey

We agree with Tinley Park police Cmdr. Steven Vaccaro said. “We’re just proud of our officers for their service to the village and the community.”  We add our voice to that.  Thank you.
