There are a few places you, or your Apple Chevy mechanic, will want to check out first if your vehicle has lighting issues. Below is a list of four common problem areas that contribute to a vehicles lighting issues.
Taillight Socket
For a problem with your taillight, make sure the lightbulb socket is not loose. If it is, your taillight could have a problem with wiring that is causing the problem. Have no fear, this wiring issue is common and affordable to fix.
Light Switch
For lighting issues inside of the car, the first place to check is the actual light switch. Because car parts do not last forever, the problem could simply be a loose connection. Fortunately, it will not be costly to replace the worn out switch.
Ignition Switch
Next, be sure to check out the ignition switch. If this switch has a loose connection, the wiring could be the reason for a lack of power throughout the entire car. Typically, this switch is marked “BATT.”
Circuit Breaker
Circuit breakers regulate the flow of power. Once they are overloaded, these small devices break the contact. Do not forget to look and see if your circuit breakers are the reason for your lighting troubles.
