Expect Fast with the ZR1, Faster than You Think
Chevrolet pulled out all the stops when producing the 2019 Corvette ZR1. This ‘Vette delivers an exciting combination of speed and technology.
The 2019 Chevy Corvette ZR1 has a Supercharged 6.2L V8 engine under the hood. This engine comes in conjunction with the choice of a 7 speed manual or 8 speed paddle shift transmission, producing 755 horsepower with 715 lb-ft of torque. The 2019 ZR1 can go 0-60 mph in only 2.85 seconds. With a top speed of 212 mph, the ZR1 is the fastest production Corvette ever!
The ZR1’s engine includes high-flow efficiency 4-lobe design rotors, which allows the vehicle to maintain its perfected performance during high speeds. This engine also uses a dual fuel injection system alongside Chevy’s Direct Injection system for the first time ever! This provided the vehicle with additional fueling. Concerned about oil distribution at such high speeds? Chevy is too! They have included a dry-sump oil system into the ZR1 to ensure oil flows regardless of high g-force cornering.
The 2019 Chevy Corvette ZR1 encompasses great performance technology. The addition of the all-new 4 mode exhaust system allows drivers to control the sound profile of their vehicle. Drivers can decide to arrive silently or make their presence known by choosing between the Track, Sport, Tour, and Stealth modes. The Head-Up Display will also be included in the 2019 ZR1. With the choice between 3 different views, drivers can have their preferred view projected on the windshield in their line of sight. Information, like the speedometer, can be projected directly in the driver’s line of sight, maximizing everyone’s safety.
