Consumer Reports Caps off Exceptional Year for the 2016 Chevy Cruze
The victory lap for the 2016 Chevy Cruze seems to be stretching out to an almost unprecedented length, as the company’s star compact continues to draw attention and accolades from the most prestigious corners of the auto industry. Even well after initial critical reactions led the Cruze to the top of Chevy’s sales lists and brought it an enduring popularity that set the high mark in a recent reinvigoration of Chevy’s compact car lineup, the considerately equipped young 2016 Cruze seems to have plenty left to accomplish before it’s ready to pass a bright torch to an all-new model year.
Recently dethroning the longtime favorite Honda Civic as Consumer Reports’ ‘Recommended’ compact car in the publication’s prestigious annual reliability report, the 2016 Chevy Cruze can certainly be said to be putting the seal of approval on another year of remarkably positive reception by critics and drivers alike.
