What’s New for the 2019 Chevrolet Tahoe?
The 2018 Chevy Tahoe’s popularity skyrocketed because of the classic SUV feel it produced in drivers and passengers alike. Now, with the 2019 Chevy Tahoe on the cusp of production, both drivers and passengers can get still have the classic feel of the SUV along with some additional improvements.
The 2019 Chevy Tahoe will be the fifth model year of the fourth generation of Chevy’s Tahoe. It will still be available as a four door, full size SUV. The first update to the 2019 Chevy Tahoe involves the exterior colors the SUV is available in. Although the 2019 Tahoe will not be available in Havana Metallic and Tungsten Metallic anymore, a brand new color, Shadow Gray Metallic, has been added to the list of available exterior colors. Additionally, the 2019 Chevy Tahoe will also have a new Premier badge on its tailgate.
The 2019 Chevy Tahoe will also be available with two different options for the engine. The first option is the 5.3L V8 engine. This engine includes rear wheel drive and four-wheel drive, comes in conjunction with a 6 speed automatic transmission, and produces 355 horsepower. The second option is the 6.2L V8 engine. This engine includes rear wheel drive and four-wheel drive, comes in conjunction with a 10 speed automatic transmission, and produces 420 horsepower. The 2019 Chevy Tahoe will continue to ride on the GMT K2 platform that it currently rides on.
The 2019 Chevy Tahoe is expected to have the same look and feel as the current model. It is also expected to include some top rated features as well. This includes heated mirrors, front parking sensors, rear parking sensors, and 18 inch steering wheel, key-less entry, and so many features that drivers love!
