An Inside Look at the 2019 Chevy Silverado
Get ready for the all in one- the stylish, the super powered tailgate host, the hub for carpooling to basketball practice. From helping at the job, on your property, or with the family, the Chevy Silverado can be there for it all. Just when we thought Chevy was done WOWing us, they come out with a 2019 model Silverado with some unbelievable updates.
Chevy has had an exciting year. They had their one hundred year anniversary, the have released Special Edition models including the Redline series, the Hot Wheels Special Edition Camaro, and midnight-themed Special Edition trucks. They’ve released a new Traverse, a new GMC Terrain, an updated Buick, and more.
The Silverado lost some weight, coming into the 2019 model year with 450 less pounds. The full-body framed truck comes with storage bins above the wheels, providing the perfect cargo space for any big trip. As any new, hot truck in today’s market it comes with LED lighting and some fancy bling to show off the Chevy brand. We are still waiting to hear about what the automaker added in terms of cabin and safety technology, but if it is anything like their past models, it’s a guaranteed 10/10.
Chevy doesn’t really believe in a “one size fits all” styled truck, that’s why they have four different Silverado editions. They all have common attributes such as a Hydra-matic 10-speed automatic transmission as well as start/stop engine technology to provide better fuel economy. There are six different engine/transmission options as well- providing a truck for whatever your style might be! They are separated to fit different categories of drivers- there’s the High Country, the LTZ Z71, the LS, the LT, the LT Z71, Silverado Work Truck, and customizable options that will make your Silverado exactly what you want.
A Silverado is more than just transportation, it’s a lifestyle. As mentioned earlier, Chevy has been providing dependable trucks for 100 years, and the 2017 Silverado was named “The most dependable, longest-lasting full-size picks on the road.” The classic 1500 is best in fuel economy, best in class horsepower, and is now able to tow up to 12,500 lbs. They have the responsibility of these titles and they hold them up with confidence. Information about the 2019 Silverado has been pretty confidential until very recently. Chevrolet just released the model at the North American Auto Show in Detroit, Michigan.
Chevy was already the first pick-up with 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity, Apple Car Play, Android Auto, wireless phone charging and OnStar safety and security features. For 2019 they are promising even more amazing features to be announced later this year. Stay up to date with Chevy by visiting our website!
