Apple Chevrolet BBQ for the Troops Raises Over $7,000
We spent this past Saturday firing up the grill for the USO of Illinois’s BBQ for the Troops here at Apple Chevrolet! We shared food, laughs, fun, and most of all raised money for a great cause- and we couldn’t have done it without you there!
The 7th annual Barbecue for the Troops was definitely one to remember. Raising over $7,000 dollars, all of us were able to help support local troops and their family members. We kicked off the event with tons of raffles for great prizes to raise money for the USO.
Kids were able to run through the inflatable obstacle course and had tons of fun! There was much more to enjoy after when they got their face painted by an artist and enjoyed some live music to dance to! Some even cooled off in the dunk tank.
We had so much fun with our live DJ, great company, good food, and supporting an even greater cause. With your help, we were able to give back to those who serve or have served our great country. We can’t wait to do it all over again next year!
