Summer Full of Life Blood Drive at Apple Chevrolet
This past weekend, we held our annual American Red Cross Blood Drive at Apple Chevrolet! On May 7th from 10:00am-4:00pm, we had around 64 donors donate blood. We ended up surpassing our goal of collecting 60 units of blood and instead collected 66 units! A huge thanks to everyone who took time out of their day to stop by and donate. Just one donation can save up to three lives, so every single donation meant a tremendous amount.

Here are some requirements you should know about:
Whole Blood Donation
- Donation frequency: Every 56 days
- You must be in good health and feeling well
- Age: At least 16 years old
- Weight: At least 110 lbs.
Power Red Donation
- Donation frequency: Every 112 days, up to 3 times/year
- You must be in good health and feeling well
- Male donors must be at least 17 years old, weigh over 130 lbs. and be over 5’1″
- Female donors must be at least 19 years old, weigh over 150 lbs. and be over 5’5″
